Brayton Farr

Senior Loan Officer

Brayton was raised in the small village of Northport, Leelanau County, Michigan. He still calls Leelanau County home today. Growing up in a tight-knit community helped him understand the importance of putting others first and making meaningful and impactful lifelong connections. Brayton started his lending career with a local community bank and has now moved to Citywide Home Mortgage in 2024. Prior to mortgage loan origination, he spent the previous seven years in the insurance industry. Brayton graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Finance and Marketing.

Volunteering, community engagement, and making a positive impact on his local community is very important to Brayton. He is currently the President of the Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, as well as, Vice-Chairperson of the Leelanau Peninsula Economic Foundation, and he sits on the board of the Suttons Bay Chamber of Commerce. He is an affiliate member of Aspire North Realtors®, a Strategic Partner of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), member of the Suttons Bay Chapter of BNI, member of The Leelanau County Prospectors Club, Ambassador of Traverse Connect, member of the Traverse City Young Professionals (TCYP), and The Michigan Mortgage Lenders Association (MMLA). 

When he’s not working or volunteering, Brayton enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on cars, house projects, and enjoying beautiful Northern Michigan.
