Dana Allen

CENTURY 21 Northland

Dana began her real estate career in the Birmingham-Bloomfield area back in 1987. She acquired her Broker's license in 2010 when re-entering the industry in Traverse City and the surrounding 5 County Region. To say that her timing has been curious is an understatement!  Dana has thrived through some crazy market highs and lows. She has experienced mortgage interest rates ranging from 17% to 2%, recessions, recoveries, covid and NAR settlements. All of this has helped her gain knowledge and skills that a text book cannot teach in itself. This is what sets her apart and this is what provides the ultimate benefit for her clients. In their testimonials her clients rave about Dana's market knowledge, her business savvy and her excellent communication skills. Their gratitude for her personal and professional attention to their specific needs is reflected in satisfaction and referrals.

Dana enjoys many sports for fun and often challenges herself to see what she is capable of, one of those challenges resulted in her earning an Ironman 70.3 medal. She strives for a healthy lifestyle so that she can enjoy all of the natural wonders that living in Northern Michigan offers, and so that she can keep up with her kids. In any given season you are likely to find her out and about on skis, a bike, a boat, or at an event around town. She loves to experience different places and how people live in those spaces. Her adult children currently reside on the West Coast, where one is a homeowner, landlord and tiny house designer/owner/builder. The other is a sponsored competitive cyclist, proud dog-owner and ESG specialist in the crypto-currency industry.

An important aspect to a true real estate professional is often reflected in their personal life. Do they walk their talk? Have they experienced the multidimensional rewards and challenges of homeownership? Do they understand the business pros and cons behind investing in real estate, building equity or being a landlord? Dana can check all of those boxes. She has demolished, designed and rebuilt a home with a partner. She has owned her own home within the city limits Traverse City since 2000.

Dana is a true real estate professional. She is genuinely interested all aspect of real estate and finds joy in helping others, which is why her motto is "Matching people with property is my passion!" is so fitting. Please, refer or reach out to Dana anytime to talk real estate or engage in her professional services to assist you in attaining your real estate goals.
