Description

The National Cherry Festival is quickly approaching. That not only brings tourists and traffic, it also brings a lot of trash to our beaches. It also presents us with an opportunity to give back. Aspire North is proud to partner with the National Cherry Festival for what we hope to be the first of many beach adoption projects.

Each office has the opportunity to adopt a beach for the day and have it cleaned up by 9 am that morning. This is a great opportunity to help give back to the community, keep our beautiful beaches clean, protect our fresh water, and give your office a chance for some good PR.

There are 5 different zones (refer to the map on the sign-up page) that need to be covered for all 8 days of the Cherry Festival. Your office can adopt a single beach for one day, one beach all eight days, or multiple beaches for multiple days. Five to ten volunteers should be able to cover each zone.

Zone 1 - Bryant Park Beach

Zone 2 - From Delamar to Clinch Park Beach

Zone 3 - The Open Space to the Volleyball Courts

Zone 4 - Volleyball Courts to West End

Zone 5 - West End to Tom's West Bay
